About me
Jura Boat Tours is owned and operated by me Robert Henry. I was brought up on Jura and then left for secondary schooling in Oban followed by studying engineering then joining the RAF. During my time in the Service I completed all my RYA courses to skipper level with the Royal Marines at Stonehouse culminating with passing the Commercial Skipper Endorsement.
It was always my aspiration to return to Jura and share the beauty of the Island with others. When my parents passed away I turned their house into a holiday let with the intention of using it for my wife and I when I finished my service career. I always had a vision to purchase a boat and offer trips allowing visitors to experience the rugged landscape and wildlife from a different focal point.
